LG Manoj Sinha Calls for Nurturing Local Talent at Kashmir Marathon Award Ceremony

Srinagar, October 25: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday congratulated the winners of the Kashmir Marathon and called for greater support to local talent while promoting a culture of healthy living.

Addressing the award ceremony, the Lieutenant Governor welcomed the introduction of a separate category for residents of Jammu and Kashmir, describing the marathon as a valuable platform for young people, including those from far-flung areas, to showcase their potential.

He expressed confidence that with the right support, encouragement and opportunities, future marathon champions would emerge from Jammu and Kashmir.

The LG also commended the Jammu and Kashmir Police and security forces for helping create a conducive atmosphere over the past six years, enabling the Union Territory to host prestigious international-level events.
