AIMPLB to Launch Nationwide ‘Save India, Save Sharia’ Campaign on September 17; Calls Press Conference in New Delhi

NEW DELHI (29 Aug-2026) The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has announced the upcoming launch of a nationwide movement titled the “Save India, Save Sharia” campaign, scheduled to commence on September 17, 2026.
According to an official statement issued by the Board’s Office Secretary, Dr. Vaqar Uddin Latifi, the campaign aims to mobilize public opinion across the country to safeguard constitutional principles, protect religious freedoms, reinforce the rule of law, and preserve the dignity and rights of all citizens.
Senior office-bearers and key representatives of the Board are scheduled to address members of the media, detailing the organization’s future course of action and the scope of its upcoming public outreach programs.

To formally unveil the roadmap, core objectives, and nationwide itinerary of the campaign, the AIMPLB has scheduled a press conference on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Press Club of India on Raisina Road, New Delhi.
The Board has invited media organizations, correspondents, and coverage teams to attend the briefing as it unveils its strategy for the nationwide campaign.
