PM Modi to Inaugurate Development Projects Worth ₹3,350 Crore in Ladakh on October 15

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that he will inaugurate and dedicate development projects worth approximately ₹3,350 crore to the nation in Ladakh on October 15 via video conferencing.

According to his post on X, the key projects include:

• New Passenger Terminal Building at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh.
• Nimmu–Padum–Darcha Road, aimed at strengthening connectivity and strategic mobility.
• 9 MW Hanu Hydroelectric Project and power transmission infrastructure.
• India’s first Petroglyph Conservation Park in Leh.
• 40 water bodies across 40 villages under Project Amrit Him Sarovar.

The projects are expected to strengthen connectivity, promote regional development, preserve Ladakh’s cultural heritage and improve the quality of life of local residents.
