Umar Khalid Honoured as an Asia-Pacific Human Rights Defender in Dublin
Front Line Defenders has honoured Umar Khalid as one of five human rights defenders from around the world in recognition of his work. His father, Dr Qasim Rasool Ilyas, accepted the award on his behalf in Dublin, highlighting the international recognition of Khalid’s human rights advocacy while he remains imprisoned.
