Farooq Abdullah Blames Trump for Global Crisis, Questions Centre’s ‘Foreign Hand’ Claims

Srinagar, Oct 23: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah has accused US President Donald Trump of pushing the world towards disaster, asserting that Iran has every right to defend itself against aggression.

Abdullah said the ongoing conflict has contributed to rising inflation, with the poor bearing the greatest burden. He urged Trump to end the aggression and take steps to stop Israel.

Reacting to protests in Delhi, Abdullah also criticised the Centre for alleging foreign involvement instead of examining its own actions.

“If the Centre claims foreign hands are behind the protests, why does it not name them?” Abdullah asked, questioning what he described as the government’s insecurity whenever such developments occur.
