Terrorism, Stone-Pelting and Local Youth Involvement Declined in Kashmir: LoP Sunil Sharma
Srinagar, Oct 22: BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma, said that terrorism and stone-pelting incidents in Kashmir have declined significantly over the past five years due to the sustained efforts of the Central Government.
Sharma further claimed that no local youth had joined terrorist organisations during the past two years, describing it as a significant indicator of the changing security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
He credited the Centre’s security and development initiatives for reducing terrorist activities and limiting the involvement of local youth in militancy.
