BJP Condemns Alleged Verbal Abuse of Woman JKAS Officer, Seeks Probe Into Viral Video
The BJP’s Srinagar unit has strongly condemned the alleged verbal abuse of a woman JKAS officer by IAS officer Kumar Rajeev Ranjan during a virtual review meeting.
Addressing a press conference, BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur demanded a thorough investigation into the incident. He also called for the identification of those within the department who allegedly leaked and circulated the video of the official meeting.
The BJP has sought accountability over the alleged misconduct as well as the circumstances under which the video was made public.
