J&K ITI Clusters to Get ₹475.41 Crore Upgrade Under PM-SETU Scheme

Srinagar, October 17: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary for approving ₹475.41 crore for upgrading Industrial Training Institute (ITI) clusters across the Union Territory under the PM-SETU scheme.The approved investment includes ₹240 crore for the Jammu ITI Cluster and ₹235.41 crore for the Srinagar ITI Cluster.The initiative will modernise training infrastructure, introduce contemporary courses and align vocational training with industry requirements and emerging employment opportunities.CM Omar Abdullah said the investment would strengthen industry linkages, equip young people with industry-ready skills and improve their employability and livelihood opportunities.#OmarAbdullah #JammuAndKashmir #PMSETU #SkillDevelopment #ITI #YouthEmployment
